Learner Outcome Executive
Ready to be the driving force behind learner success?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands College for a passionate and proactive Learner Outcome Executive to lead on supporting adult learners as they take their next steps after completing a Skills Bootcamp. You’ll be at the forefront of a game-changing moment in Oaklands’ journey. As part of our ambitious 2025 launch of professional training and development, this role is central to building real, lasting connections between graduates and employment opportunities.
Your Day to Day Impact
As a Learner Outcome Executive, you will play a pivotal role within the Skills Bootcamp team, directly influencing the success of adult learners as they prepare to take their next career steps. You will provide personalised support, guiding learners through the process of exploring and securing employment, career progression, or further training opportunities. Your ability to understand each individual’s strengths and aspirations will help ensure they are matched with the right opportunities to thrive.
A key part of your role will be researching and identifying current job vacancies, apprenticeships, and other relevant opportunities within the local and regional labour market. By staying informed about market trends and employer needs, you will be able to connect learners with meaningful and achievable pathways that align with their skills and goals.
Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with employers, recruitment partners, and community organisations will be central to your success. Acting as a trusted liaison, you will advocate for learners and promote their potential, working collaboratively to create sustainable employment opportunities.
You will also take ownership of tracking and recording learner outcomes, ensuring that all evidence is gathered accurately and in line with funding compliance requirements. Your meticulous attention to detail will support robust monitoring and reporting, helping the college meet its success and KPI targets.
Working closely with colleagues across the Skills Bootcamp programme, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of delivery. Your insights and feedback will help drive continuous improvement, while your commitment to safeguarding and learner welfare will ensure every individual feels supported throughout their journey.
Importantly, you will sign off on learner outcomes, taking personal responsibility for each learner’s progression. This candidate sign-off process reinforces your role as a dedicated advocate, ensuring that every learner’s achievements are fully recognised and that their next steps are clear, actionable, and supported.
