Day to Day Impact
Inspiring Teaching – Deliver engaging lessons that make a difference across a variety of animal management modules. From animal science to behaviour and conservation, your lessons will stick.
Creative Curriculum Design – Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and practical learning experiences that students genuinely enjoy.
Student Support & Progress – Act as a personal tutor, mentor and motivator. You'll guide learners through their journey, helping them meet targets and reach their full potential.
Professional Assessment – Mark and assess learner work accurately, fairly and with a developmental mindset.
Quality Standards – Play an active role in internal verification and ensure compliance with college quality policies and procedures.
Team Collaboration – Contribute to meetings, events and team development with your energy, ideas and expertise.
Real Impact – Monitor learner attendance and achievement, and support every student to thrive — inside and outside the classroom.

You're not just passionate about animals — you're passionate about people too. You want to help learners build real skills, grow in confidence and take on the world of work with knowledge and compassion.
You’ll bring:
A teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one with our support)
Degree or professional qualification in Animal Management or related field at least L3
At least 2-3 years of Industry experience or prior teaching experience in a similar setting
A creative, inclusive, and student-first approach to education
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple, engaging ways
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
And personally, you’re:
Friendly, flexible and solution-focused
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
