We’re looking for an Online Assessor & Moderator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your subject knowledge with learner support, ensuring students are assessed fairly, guided effectively, and fully engaged in their journey to success.
As part of our growing online provision, you’ll play a key role in assessing, moderating, and motivating learners — while working with colleagues to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. With flexibility to work some evenings, Monday to Friday, this role is designed to support both learners’ needs and a healthy work-life balance.

Your Day-to-Day Impact
Learner Support – Welcome new students, check course suitability, and identify any support needs to set them up for success.
Assessment & Feedback – Mark assignments promptly, provide clear feedback, and support learners with re-submissions or professional discussions.
Progress Tracking – Monitor outstanding work, review learner progress, and update college tracking systems accurately and on time.
Quality & Compliance – Work with quality assurers, verifiers, and awarding bodies to ensure assessments meet required standards.
Collaboration – Support fellow assessors, contribute to team standardisation, and share best practice to drive continuous improvement.
Professional Growth – Take part in CPD and upskilling opportunities to maintain subject expertise and assessment standards.
Is This You?
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated assessor who thrives on helping learners achieve.
You’ll bring:
A minimum Level 3 subject specialist qualification
At least 3 years of industry experience with evidence of CPD
GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
An Assessor Award (A1, D32/33 or equivalent)
A V1 Award (or equivalent)
Experience delivering or assessing Digital Marketing (Level 2+)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence with IT systems and online platforms
And personally, you’re:
Supportive, approachable, and learner-focused
Able to balance independence with teamwork
Detail-oriented and accurate in record-keeping
Committed to high standards and continuous improvement
