You’ll deliver engaging, inclusive lessons, monitor progress, provide impactful feedback, and support students from enrolment to results day. Your Day-to-Day Impact
To teach A-level Physics in line with the AQA syllabus;
To teach A-level Maths in line with the OCR syllabus;
To plan and develop engaging, comprehensive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities;
Manage student behaviour and engagement in line with College behaviour policy
To set and mark assignments, monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help students improve their performance and prepare them for the A-level exams;
To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and grades;
To write reports and communicate with parents about student progress;
To contribute to departmental development through participation in curriculum planning, quality assurance, internal verification of student work and professional development activities.
Is This You?
A degree in Physics, Maths or a related field;
Familiarity with current research and advancements to keep lessons relevant and interesting;
Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills;
Skill in explaining difficult ideas in a way that is accessible to students.
