You’ll deliver engaging, inclusive lessons, monitor progress, provide impactful feedback, and support students from enrolment to results day. Your Day-to-Day Impact

• To teach A-level Physics in line with the AQA syllabus; 

• To teach A-level Maths in line with the OCR syllabus; 

• To plan and develop engaging, comprehensive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities; 

• Manage student behaviour and engagement in line with College behaviour policy 

• To set and mark assignments, monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help students improve their performance and prepare them for the A-level exams; 

• To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and grades; 

• To write reports and communicate with parents about student progress; 

• To contribute to departmental development through participation in curriculum planning, quality assurance, internal verification of student work and professional development activities. 

Is This You?

• A degree in Physics, Maths or a related field; 

• Familiarity with current research and advancements to keep lessons relevant and interesting; 

• Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills; 

• Skill in explaining difficult ideas in a way that is accessible to students.
