Your Day-to-Day Impact
· Ensure that the exam room is prepared as required for the exam
· Ensure a calm environment to allow candidates the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams.
· Help organise candidates at the start and end of each exam.
· Provide the correct information and material for successful completion of the exam.
· Ensure that examinations are conducted within the guidelines set down by JCQ or other regulatory authorities.
· Ensure that suspected malpractice is reported immediately and dealt with in compliance with regulations.
· Assist in the completion of Attendance Registers, Seating Plans, Report Forms and any other documentation required by the Examinations Department.
· Ensure that notices are displayed in compliance with statutory regulations.
· If there is a disturbance in the exam, the invigilator must support the Senior Invigilator in dealing with the situation. The invigilator must make comprehensive notes regarding the time and nature of the disturbance so that a report can be submitted to the exam board.
· Where appropriate, assist with conducting on-line exams observing the relevant guidelines
· Assist with the collection of Exam scripts – these must be collected in order, by candidate number before the candidates have left the room.
· Attend Exams Department training on an annual basis.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Exams and Achievement Manager.

Is this you?
· Substantial experience of providing enrichment activities working with a diverse range of young people particularly those in the 16-19 age range
· An active interest in sporting or enrichment activities
· Experience of delivering workshops and organising activities
· Ability to drive a minibus (after training)
· Organised approach to work, able to work on own initiative and to administer own workload.
· Completed in house training relevant to the role.
· Ability to evaluate and reflect on own performance.
· Ability to form balanced judgements about student problems and support needs.
· High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
· Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
· Ability to stay calm under pressure.
· Ability to work in a professional, impartial, and non-judgemental way.
· Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in working with and helping customers.
· An awareness of cultural diversity
