Your Day-to-Day Impact
Teaching & Instruction: Deliver engaging, practical brickwork sessions alongside structured theory lessons aligned to the curriculum.
Curriculum Delivery: Support learners in planning and completing practical tasks safely and to awarding body standards.
Assessment: Carry out assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progress and achievement.
Student Engagement: Use effective teaching strategies and questioning techniques to maximise student participation and learning.
Administration: Maintain accurate records, including attendance tracking and reporting, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Is This You?
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience in Brickwork. Experience in groundworks would be beneficial.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Brickwork.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good written and spoken English
Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
Other Requirements:
Ability to motivate and inspire learners
DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable Criteria: Level 4 teaching in further education qualification or a willingness to work towards.
